Elmore met with Mayor Harris to ask him to support trade, family and Culture with Africa early 2019

May 19, 2019 marked the 200th Bicentennial  Anniversary Celebration of the City of Memphis Memphis advertised via a campaign called "Bring Your Soul" whereas citizens were invited to celebrate and Honor Memphis in their own way

Anthony "Amp" Elmore who is the father of Independent Theatrical Filmmaking in Memphis whose 1988 film "The Contemporary Gladiator" was not allowed to a part of the "Salute to Made-In-Memphis Cinema."  In addition Elmore produced the Film "200 Years of Black Memphis History" was not allowed to be a part of the Bicennial Celebration. We were in touch with Osborne Burks who served as Special Assistant of Legislative Affair and Ms. Tracy Wolfe who was Mayor Lee Harris Executive Secretary. The office of Shelby County Mayor outright discriminated against us. Because we were not allowed to be on the official Calendar rented the Malco Theatre and posted the movie on "YOU TUBE" Below is an email that Osborn Burks sent me on May 21, 2019 We got  a "TWEET"
